Neema Pazargad has been intimately involved with pianos for over 30 years, as a professional pianist with a Masters Degree in performance, an accomplished teacher of over 300 students, and as a full service Piano Technician. Whether it's a basic tuning, major or minor repairs or to give your piano that certain feel or sound you're looking for, Neema can help bring your instrument to it's full potential.
At Neema's Piano Service we strive to bring you the highest level of customer service using the most current data and techniques available. In addition to meeting monthly with local Piano Technicians, Neema works closely with some of the most well respected technicians in North America.
Neema has also participated in and completed training seminars with some of the major piano manufacturers and will be continuing his education with factory training in 2015.
Neema has tuned and serviced pianos in most of the major concert venues in the Los Angeles Area, including the Nokia Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Wilshire Ebell Theatre and The Ambassador Auditorium among others. His clients include many of the major music and film studios in Los Angeles as well as professional musicians, teachers and performers.
Neema Pazargad began playing the piano at age six, quickly realizing he had found his calling in life. After attending Hamilton High School Academy of Music in Culver City, Neema was awarded a full tuition scholarship to attend the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music. Winner of numerous awards and accolades, Neema received the "Most Outstanding Senior In Performance" and was sent to Nagoya, Japan for 2 weeks to perform and study.
After concertizing and teaching in Denver, Neema moved back to Los Angeles in 2000 and attended the California Institute of the Arts obtaining a Master of Fine Arts in Piano Performance.
Neema has since been living in Los Angeles, performing regularly, maintaining a studio of excellent piano students, operating a general engineering construction company, and studying the craft of being a Piano Technician. He is currently employed as Lead Piano Technician at The Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles.
In his spare time, Neema is a voracious reader, an outdoors man, amateur cook and lover of animals. He lives in the San Fernando Valley.
